Purpose

Welcome to our beautiful Neighborhood Community. We hope you will take advantage of the safe and lovely environment it offers.

Amherst Homeowners Association (AHOA) is a close-knit, single-family, residential community of 113 homes spread over five streets. We are fortunate to be owners of a beautiful area.

To make Amherst work as a community requires some effort from all its residents. Upon purchasing a home in Amherst, all homeowners agree to the By-laws and Declarations of Covenants and Restrictions

Amherst Homeowners Association is governed by a Board of Directors, composed of minimal three and maximum four Committee Members. The Committee meets twice annually.  The Association meetings are open to all residents. Our general meeting is in April and August. At this meeting the AHOA’s budget, neighborhood concerns and voting is approved for any new expenditures for the upcoming year by all residents. All Committee members are nominated and are voted into their positions by the homeowners at the meetings.
